Our Story & Mission
Transitioning from the classroom to the working world is one of the most exciting yet nerve-wracking milestones in a student’s life. Balanced between the thrill of independent growth and the uncertainty of trying something completely new, many high schoolers feel stuck wondering how to navigate professional spaces for the very first time.
Stridala (combining the forward momentum of a proud stride with ala, the Latin word for wings) was founded to give early-stage job seekers a meaningful head start. We operate at the intersection of career readiness and workforce development. Our core mission is to uplift, encourage, and guide young adults as they prepare for their very first steps into the professional world.
Because the needs of students are always evolving, our approach is flexible. Whether we are hosting hands-on summer learning cohorts, designing student-focused web apps, or linking you directly to our dedicated entry-level job search platform, Stridala is here to clear the path forward. Stridala was started by two co-founders who are, first and foremost, parents. After seeing firsthand the unique challenges high school students face when trying to navigate their first professional steps, they decided to build a platform to bridge that gap. While they are currently keeping their focus entirely on the project rather than the spotlight, they are deeply committed to empowering the next generation of early talent.
Does Stridala offer internships every year?
We occasionally host specialized technical internship cohorts—such as our remote summer software engineering program—to give students a deep dive into real-world projects and collaborative team settings. However, these program structures adapt based on our current initiatives, and we do not guarantee a recurring enrollment pipeline every single year.
